One of the best aspects of this homemade granola recipe is just how easy it is to customize. While I personally prefer my granola to be sweet and incredibly crunchy, you should feel free to get creative and make it your own! You can easily toss in chocolate chips, swap out different dried fruits, or add any other mix-ins you enjoy.
Ingredients
- 200g rolled oats
- 40g all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 200g mixed nuts
- 60g dried cranberries
- 40g coconut oil (or any vegetable oil of your choice)
- 80g liquid honey (about 3 tbsp)
- 50g orange juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: oats, flour, salt, nuts, and dried cranberries.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the liquid ingredients: coconut oil, honey, and orange juice.
- Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the granola in a thin, even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring at least once halfway through to ensure even baking.
- And that’s it! Your perfect batch of homemade granola is ready for a healthy breakfast!
Try serving your crunchy granola with your favorite yogurt and some fresh berries for a delicious, nourishing start to the day.
