Yield: 1 cake

Ingredients

Dought:

  • 200 ml orange juice

  • 3 eggs

  • vanilla

  • 200 gr sugar

  • 200 ml vegetable oil

  • 200 + 30 gr flour

  • 40 gr cocoa

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • a pinch of salt

GLAZE RECIPE

  • 100 gr sugar

  • 5 gr gelatin

  • 10 gr lemon juice

  • 25 g water for gelatin

  • 22 gr water for sugar syrup

Instructions

Add orange juice, eggs, vanilla, sugar, and oil to a blender. Blend for 3-4 minutes until whitened. Transfer the mass to a deep container, and sift 200 g of flour, salt, and baking powder there. Mix well, but not too long. We divide the dough into 2 equal halves - in 1 we add 30 g of flour, and in the other - 40 g of cocoa. Pour the dough into the mold alternating dark and light. Bake at 180C for about 65 minutes.

Let cool, then pour the frosting on top. Icing is optional, but it takes the cake to the next level.

Glaze cooking:

Send gelatin to a small mug and fill it with cold water for 5-7 minutes. Put sugar and 22 gr water in a saucepan with a thick bottom. Place on the stove and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. The sugar must melt. When it boils, remove it from the stove. After we introduce the swollen gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Let's do it quickly. We begin to beat until fluffy. In the middle of the whipping process, we introduce lemon juice. Whisk until light and fluffy. The glaze on gelatin stabilizes quickly enough, so you should not work with it for a long time. We do everything quickly. We decorate with beautiful stains from the cornet.
