This dessert has no refined sugar, no complicated ingredients, takes just 2 minutes to make, and is unbelievably delicious. Plus, the ingredients are super easy to swap with whatever you have in your fridge.

If you have no issues with dairy, feel free to substitute the plant-based milk with regular milk, and use regular chocolate instead of dark chocolate. You can also swap the dates for dried apricots or prunes. No fancy gadgets needed—just a blender and three ingredients.

Still on the fence? I don’t know what could convince you! Maybe the ingredient list?

2-Minute Super-Airy Chocolate Mousse

Yield: 2 portion

Ingredients

Mousse

  • 4 Medjool dates, pitted (you can substitute with plump, juicy dried apricots)

  • 115g dark chocolate (at least 74% cocoa content—be sure to use dark chocolate, or it might turn out too sweet! 😅)

  • 360ml plant-based milk (I used pistachio milk)

Instructions

Heat the plant-based milk until it's almost boiling. Add the dates, chocolate, and hot milk into a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into serving cups. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, and you'll have a perfectly stable, delicious dessert ready to enjoy.
