I enjoy no more than 3 of these delicious healthy candies for breakfast. They provide a sense of completion, and I don’t feel “trapped in diets and restrictions.” Even better, these natural energy balls are entirely wholesome and healthy! Nuts and dried apricots are rich in essential minerals like magnesium (Mg), potassium (K), iron (Fe), and beneficial fiber, all of which support the nervous system and improve digestion. Plus, these sugar-free natural sweets contain no added sugar, so your energy and mood won’t “spike and crash” like with regular sugary treats. The raw ingredients provide long-lasting energy, making these nutritional snacks perfect for keeping you feeling full!
Ingredients
Almond-Apricot Energy Balls
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 4–6 large, soft dried apricots (no added sugar)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- For coating: cocoa or nut flour
Carrot Energy Bites
- 150 g finely grated carrots
- 200 g juicy dried apricots (natural, unsweetened)
- 110 g walnuts
- Zest of an orange (no white part)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 35 g shredded coconut
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tbsp nutmeg
- A pinch of salt
- 30–35 g shredded coconut or black sesame seeds for coating
Instructions
How to Make Almond-Apricot Energy Balls
- Soak raw almonds overnight or for at least 6 hours.
- If the almonds have skins, peel them after soaking. Blend them with shredded coconut, dried apricots, and coconut oil until you get a dense mass.
- Use a tablespoon or ice cream scoop to form equal-sized balls. Compress them with your hands and roll them in cocoa, chocolate, or nut flour.
- Your delicious almond-apricot energy balls are ready!


How to Make Carrot Energy Bites
- Blend dried apricots, orange zest, and carrots in a food processor until smooth.
- Add chia seeds, shredded coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Blend again until fully combined.
- Finally, add walnuts and process to your preferred texture. Leave small chunks if desired.
- Shape small balls and roll them in coconut or sesame seeds. Enjoy your homemade carrot energy bites!
